ARES 70016 - Damaged Bolt and Stud Extractor Tool
Eliminate The Guesswork
The ARES Damaged Bolt And Stud Extractor Tool has a universal design that allows you to clamp down on damaged studs from 1/4-inch to 1/2-inch (6 - 12mm), taking the guess work out of extracting them. This tool has a 3/8-inch drive that can be used with hand ratchets, impact wrenches and air ratchets, and the hexagonal flat can be used with flat wrenches, adjustable wrenches, sockets, and locking pliers. What Our Customers Are Saying:
"Excellent tool. Worked like a charm to extract 2 forty year old exhaust manifold studs (10mm dia,) on an aluminum motorcycle cylinder! I am looking around for other studs to pull out now just for fun ... :-)"
"Outstanding product. I removed 3 broken exhaust manifold studs in less than an hour."
"This thing is a beast. I would have saved myself AT LEAST four hours of uninstall/install time on the driver's side catalytic converter on my wife's Pathfinder if I had this thing to begin with. Since I didn't have this, I had to remove the driver's side exhaust manifold from the engine in order to remove the top stud bolt (had to drill it out instead). I wound up ordering this AFTER I did the first catalytic converter uninstall/install. I wasn't about to go through the same crap on the passenger side as I did the driver's side."
